From 7 to 9 November 2018 the 11th Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation will take place in Bonn. The venue will be the main building of the University of Bonn which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. Wissenschaft im Dialog is pleased to be the guest of this place of learning and research.
Through the Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation, Wissenschaft im Dialog (WiD), an initiative of German science research organisations, offers science communicators an overview of current trends and strategies in science communication and opportunity to exchange ideas.
This year’s thematic focus will be on ‘Scientists in the focus of science communication’.
Wissenschaft im Dialog and the programme committee cordially invite you to participate in the call for proposals for the 11th Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation. This is your opportunity to actively participate in designing the conference programme.
You can submit suggestions for sessions, interactive workshops and project presentations.
To submit your proposals, please use the online form at http://www.wissenschaft-im-dialog.de/en/forum-wissenschaftskommunikation/. The deadline for all submissions is 16 April 2018.

For the theme ‘Scientists in the focus of science communication’ Wissenschaft im Dialog particularly welcomes proposals from scientists.
Wissenschaft im Dialog considers equal gender distribution important in both the panels for sessions and the moderating teams for interactive formats. Mixed-gender proposals are particularly appreciated.
The programme committee assesses all submitted proposals and compiles the selected contributions in the conference programme. You will be informed of the selection outcome in July 2018.
