Karlstad University is a public owned university inaugurated in 1999. We provide 18 500 students with knowledge for a sustainable future. The University offers a wide range of courses and research in the social sciences, the humanities, teacher training, technology and engineering, and health and care. Karlstad University has around 1,500 employees, approximately 68 percent are teachers and researchers. Karlstad University include Karlstad Business School and Ingesund School of Music.
