Beside its role as main funder of research activities in Luxembourg, the FNR has the mission to stimulate, promote and facilitate the exchange between science and society. The FNR considers public engagement as an integral part of research and a joint responsibility of research institutions and funders. It also works closely together with decision makers, to further anchor science in society, and with the educational and associative sectors, to support their initiatives to promote science in schools and among the public. The FNR’s Science in Society team offers a variety of exchange instruments in order to connect scientists and society.
